You may be a woman approaching middle age and wondering if it’s too late to change your life. You might even be in the later years of your life dealing with your own unique struggles, but it’s never too late to change. No matter the stage of life, or season you are in, we see you. Common women’s issues we see in our office

Anxiety – this may include racing thoughts, worst-case scenario thinking, chest pains, rapid breathing, or just out of control worry. Anxiety looks different for everyone, but we can help. Learn some practical tools and techniques to manage and decrease anxiety along with getting to the root cause.

Depressiondepression can present as a spectrum of symptoms including lack of motivation, loneliness, isolation, frequent crying, not wanting to get out of bed, lack of desire for activities you used to enjoy, along with major disruption to relationships, vocation or social life. Having someone to talk to can be so helpful, and working to restore joy and hope in your life can make all the difference.

Relationship struggles – this might be in a marriage, at work, in friendships or with family. Although we are created for community, relationships are hard. Learn more about boundaries, taking control of what you can own, and navigating the challenging dynamics. Counseling can also be a place of support if you are in a disappointing or damaging relationship.

Low self-esteem – many women struggle with low self-esteem, and many suffer alone. It’s easy to think you are the only one who feels this negatively about yourself. Beginning to focus on one’s strengths, gaining self-awareness and insight, and having support from someone who truly cares can lead to increased self-esteem and seeing oneself as others and God see you.

Lack of purpose – perhaps you have been a housewife or stay at home mom for some time and as you begin to have more free time, you have started to question what your purpose is outside of serving your home and the people in it. Or you might be a high school or college student who is seeking clarity and discernment on what career or life path to choose. We love to help women discover their purpose and path in life.

Overwhelm – many women wear a variety of hats and are constantly juggling all of the demands in life. It can get overwhelming and start to feel out of your control. Inviting someone, with an outside view and perspective, can help you sort through the mess and assist you in making clear choices about relationships, how you spend your time and incorporating self-care.

Sexuality concerns – this is an area of which a lot of women are scared and nervous to ask for help. Please know you are not alone. We take the sensitivity of these matters seriously and seek to journey with you as you open up about your struggles.

Whatever you might be dealing with, we would consider it an honor to journey with you.

We seek to provide a safe and welcoming environment for women to work through their struggles.
